Some MPs fear immigrants from Bulgaria and Romania could travel to the UK to claim benefits when current restrictions preventing them from doing so expire at the end of this year.

The Government is considering using advertising to deter Bulgarians and Romanians from heading to Britain.

But the Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov told ITV News: "I cant see any factors that would make the UK particularly attractive compared to other places in Europe. In fact I can see at least one factor that makes the UK far less attractive and that's certainly the weather."
