Lamborghini hits 210mph on an airport runway

Lamborghini is celebrating its 50th birthday in style this year, and at very, very high speed.

The luxury Italian car manufacturer took over the runway at Miami International Airport using five of its latest Aventador LP 700-4 Roadsters.

The supercars roared their way down the tarmac at speeds of 210mph, just short of their top speed.

The passenger jets which usually occupy the runway at Miami take off at a significantly slower speed of 180mph.
