Romanians are smarting at accusations that abattoirs there put horsemeat into the food chain. Their Prime Minister told ITV News that the abattoirs in question do export horsemeat but only in clearly labelled, large pieces - not mince. And as ITV News' Europe correspondent Emma Murphy reports, he turned the accusations back on the meat processing plants in France:
The EU is urging member states to carry out tens of thousands of tests in the wake of the horsemeat scandal - but who will foot the bill?
Poland's deputy chief veterinary officer says his investigation shows the country's meat products are "genuine beef" and alleges fraud.
