Political parties set out rival plans for press regulation
MPs will face two options at next Monday's Commons vote on press regulation, the Conservatives' proposal, and the Labour/Liberal Democrat proposal.
Both sides have set out their plans for a royal charter establishing an independent self-regulatory body in the aftermath of Lord Justice Leveson's report.
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg said the blueprint he had drawn up with Labour leader Ed Miliband represented a "strengthened version" of earlier proposals set out last month by the Conservatives.
