A man taken hostage by the two brothers accused of carrying out the Boston Marathon bombings has given his account of the moment he managed to escape from the grasp of one of the suspects.
The Chinese entrepreneur, who only identified himself as Danny to CBS News, said Tamerlan Tsarnaev pointed a gun at him and said "you know I am serious, don't be stupid."
The elder brother then boasted to the 26-year-old, saying: "Do you know the Boston explosion on Monday? I did that and I just killed a policeman in Cambridge."
During the car robbery Danny only heard the suspects say one word, 'Manhattan'.
New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said last week that the suspects had "spontaneously" decided to bomb Times Square.
Danny's escape came when the Tsarnaev brothers decided to refuel the car.
The hostage counted to four, quickly undone his seatbelt, opened the car door and ran from the vehicle.
He told CBS News that he felt Tamerlan trying to grab him before his escape.
