The Muslim community of Woolwich, south east London, is determined to stay calm and united in the face of yesterday's brutal attack on solider Lee Rigby.

Community elders say they are fearful of reprisal attacks, whilst other residents said they hope the police fully investigate the estates where "well known fanatics live."

Swaleh Ahmed, the Imam of Woolwich Mosque, said he condemned the attacks "in the strongest possible terms" saying it was an evil, criminal act inflicted on the whole community.
