Two men accused of murdering soldier Lee Rigby will stand trial at the Old Bailey in November.
Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale appeared in court today via videolink from separate rooms at Belmarsh prison in south east London and spoke only to confirm their names.
Both are accused of the with the murder of Lee Rigby, the attempted murder of two police officers and possession of a firearm.
28-year-old Michael Adebolajo, who appeared to still have his left arm in a bandage after being shot by armed officers in the incident on 22nd May, sat flanked by two prison officers.
Michael Adebowale, 22, was also seen flanked by prison officers.
Both have been remanded in custody to appear for a plea and case management hearing at the Old Bailey on 27th September before standing trail on 18th November.
