Fundraisers run naked in London Zoo tigers streak

Hundreds of animal lovers earned their stripes as they ran naked around London Zoo to raise money for a rare subspecies of tiger.

The sponsored streak saw 300 brave runners get back to nature by stripping off before making their way through ZSL London Zoo in the after-hours event, watched by their supporters and some animals.

The fundraisers took part in the 300m course through the centre of the attraction, based on the collective noun for a group of tigers - a streak.

Streak for Tigers raised around £60,000 towards safeguarding Sumatran tigers.

The zoo's resident tigers did not look to impressed by the display.
