Firefighters staged a four hour walk out today after union members voted for action during a bitter dispute over pensions.

Members of the Fire Brigades Union say changes introduced by the Government will mean they have to work longer, pay more into their pensions and receive less in retirement.

They left their stations and set up picket lines at 12pm, leaving brigades to put into place contingency plans until 4pm.

Further action has been threatened if the dispute is not resolved.

ITV News' Consumer Editor Chris Choi reports from a picket line in High Wycombe.
