The 29-year-old is wanted by Kenyan authorities over a suspected terror plot in Mombassa in 2011. Using a number of different names she has so far evaded capture.
Kenyan authorities fuelled speculation that she was involved in the shopping centre massacre by saying a British women who has allegedly been involved in terrorism "many times before" was among the militants, but tonight stressed that the Interpol alert was related to the 2011 event, not the Westgate Mall attacks.
