X Factor's Great British Songbook kicks off tonight

ITV's The X Factor has revealed the contestants' song choices for the Great British Songbook week.

Contestants will be singing a series of British pop classics as they battle to survive to the next stage of the competition.

The X Factor has pledged to donate proceeds from this weekend's vote and live performance downloads to the Philippines Typhoon Appeal.

ITV have also agreed a new three-year-deal to broadcast The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent until the end of 2016, extending ITV's long-running relationship with Simon Cowell.
