US superstar Bruno Mars is the latest addition to the list of performers at the BRIT Awards on February 19.

The Grenade singer is this year’s biggest selling US male artist and has sold over 10 million albums globally.

He joins the already-announced acts Arctic Monkeys and Katie Perry on the bill.

Flying the flag for British music will be Rudimental and Bastille - both performing for the first time at the BRITs.

Rudimental said:

We are really looking forward to playing the BRITs ... to actually be a part of the event this time round is the icing on the cake after such an incredible year too.

We are definitely going to bring the party vibe.

The BRIT Awards 2014 will be broadcast exclusively on ITV at 8pm on February 19.

The 2014 nominations, The BRITs Are Coming, will be announced and broadcast on January 9 at 10:35pm on ITV.
