Sellers put unwanted gifts online in record numbers

A record number of unwanted gifts were sold this year, as figures revealed 32,705 people logged on to sell their goods before 11am on Christmas day.

Data from musicMagpie.co.uk showed people were willing to look a gift horse in the mouth as 2,686,540 unwanted presents were sold online.

Lady Gaga's album Born This Way was the number one unwanted gift with 53,041 being sold online.

The Inbetweeners Movie was number two in the unwanted charts as 47,758 copies have been sold since Christmas.
