Overnight weather: Rain in the north, frost in the south

It's a tale of two halves weather-wise tonight with rain across the north-west, while further south conditions will be clearer and colder.

A patchy frost will develop before dawn, making way for a chilly start to Sunday, though brighter skies are expected.

The north can expect rain on and off throughout the afternoon, while the middle and south of the country will stay mostly dry, with the best of the sunshine.

Temperatures could reach highs of 16 or 17 degrees tomorrow.
