Nigel Farage should have got used to being tackled over offensive comments made by members of Ukip over the past few weeks. There have been plenty of them.
Usually he likes to say Ukip doesn't have a monopoly on stupid people.
However, challenged today on LBC over offensive tweets made by a Ukip councillor about gay people and allegations that one of the party's most prominent members had been employing illegal immigrants, he appeared rattled.
By the end of the interview his press officer tried to step in to stop him being questioned over European expenses.
What's interesting is that none of these rows have damaged Ukip's standing in the polls so far - but are they starting to unsettle its leader?
