Family reunites to honour its seven war heroes

One hundred years after seven brothers headed off to war, their relatives have flown in to Scotland from across the globe to honour their First World War service.

Four of the Cranston brothers never returned to the family's Midlothian home after falling in the conflict, while two suffered life-changing injuries.

Only one of the brothers survived without physical injury.

Their descendants have gathered together in the region for the first time to remember them, as ITV News Scotland Correspondent Debi Edward reports:
