A mystery train passenger has become an internet sensation after being filmed inspiring a full carriage of fellow passengers to join him in an enthusiastic singsong.

The suit-wearing traveller stood up on a silent Southeastern train going from Victoria station in London to Ashford International in Kent on Friday and began the rousing singsong, inspiring his fellow commuters to join in.

Passenger George Haswell, a surveyor from Maidstone in Kent, filmed the incident and posted it on YouTube.

He told Kent Online: "This man needs to go viral. It was so funny and entertaining. He was so amazing."
