The passport numbers of England's World Cup stars have been revealed after a spectacular security blunder ahead of their pre-World Cup friendly with Ecuador.

An hour before kick-off at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, the team sheets were handed round the press box as normal, with one major difference - they contained the passport numbers of both teams' entire squads.

The details soon found their way on to social media, where uncensored versions could be found in circulation.

In a further security breach, the signatures of midfielder Frank Lampard and director of England team operations Michelle Farrar were published.

The FA has said it is aware of the situation and expressed hope that it would not be repeated at their next match at the stadium, against Honduras on Saturday.
