For many this week has been pretty fine and feeling a lot like summer.
St James Park hit 25.9C with many areas outside the capital sitting comfortably in the twenties.
Today across northern areas signs of change developed bringing rain for much of Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Currently it's breaking down into showers as it comes south, but the heat is likely to spark off some thundery downpours tonight in the Midlands.
The high pressure that has held off any unsettled weather has weakened.
For us that means cloudier skies on Saturday with sunny spells and a few showers.
It'll bring cooler temperatures, especially on the east coast.
On Sunday the high pressure will sneak back in reintroducing warmer weather.
It looks set to sit in place over the first few days of next week.
It's good news if you like the heat, but bad news if you're one of the many hay fever sufferers as pollen levels will remain high.
