A father who walked in on a man allegedly sexually abusing his 11-year-old son beat the suspect unconscious leaving him in a puddle of his own blood.
Officers found Raymond Frolander, 18, motionless on the living room floor in Florida with blood pouring from his mouth.
"I just walked in on a grown man molesting.... And I got him in a bloody puddle for you now officer," the father told a 911 officer.
“Send an ambulance. He is going to need one,” the father said.
A mugshot released shows the suspect with swollen lips and large lacerations on his face after the incident.
Frolander, who is believed to be a close family friend of the victim, was charged with sexual battery on a victim under 12 and is being held without bail.
According to the 18-year-old's arrest record, he later admitted the abuse in a police interview, saying: "I'm guilty".
The child told investigators that he had been playing computer games with his friends, but once they had left, Frolander allegedly began to sexually assault him.
He said he had been abused since he was eight-years-old.
The child's father has not been charged with any crime and Daytona Beach's police chief told the Daytona Beach News-Journal that the man was just "acting like a Dad".
The father told the 911 operator: “I did whatever I got a right to do except I didn’t kill him.”
