Bin bag full of 'severed cats' heads' found on Manchester street

Manchester City Council has launched an investigation after it was reported that a bin bag containing severed cats' heads was found on a street in Rusholme.

The gruesome discovery was made by a council worker, who discovered a single black bin liner was full of animal remains. The council has notified the RSPCA over the discovery. In a statement, it said:

According to the Independent,RSPCA Chief Inspector Caty Hyde appealed for further information over the incident.

This sounds like a very distressing incident, especially for the people who found the remains.

Thankfully reports like this are extremely rare and we will liaise with the local authority to look into this further.
