Alistair Darling has completed in the Ice Bucket Challenge after accepting his nomination from actor James McAvoy.
In a video titled "Wetter Together," Darling thanks McAvoy for nominating him before his team thoroughly drench the former chancellor .
Darling said his soaking was in aid of Gordon's Fightback which was "a cause close to our hearts".
The site, which was set up by Better Together director of research Gordon Aikman, aims to raise awareness of the neurodegenerative disease ALS, or motor neurone disease.
Aikman publicly revealed he is dying of the disease in a powerful article in the Scotland on Sunday newspaper in June.
Darling then goes on to nominate the staff of Better Together to take the challenge.
There has been no word so far from Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond, who McAvoy also nominated.
