Jiff, who starred in a Katy Perry music video, has become the world's fastest dog on two legs.
The Pomeranian from Los Angeles now holds two records: the fastest 10 metres on hind legs (6.56 seconds) and the fastest five metres on front paws (7.76 seconds).
The record-breaking dog, who practices running everyday, is described as a "natural performer" who can shake hands, bow and even ride a skateboard.
Jiff is the first reveal from the 60th anniversary edition of the Guinness World Records annual, due for release in September.
He has thousands of fans on social media after appearing in numerous television adverts and the video for Katy Perry's hit song Dark Horse.
With more than 1.3 million likes on Facebook and over 14,000 Twitter followers, Jiff has become an internet sensation.
Guiness World Records editor Craig Glenday said the dog is a "living, breathing cuddly toy" with a "huge personality".
