It is one of the loveliest legacies of Britain's industrial past and a collection that charts the fashons, tastes and artistry of 250 years: 80,000 peices of Wedgewood china from the tables and mantlepeices of history,
But now it's future is a fragile as the pottery itself.
The collection could be broken up and sold off unless £3 million can be raised. So an appeal has been launched to keep the china in British hands.
