Former Man United and Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin has made a surprise move to BBC daytime show Homes Under The Hammer.

The England capped 45 year-old did his fair share of moving during a career spanning 20 years and encompassing 10 different clubs.

He will join presenters Martin Roberts and Lucy Alexander on the programme's 19th series, and meet property developers across the UK who wish to document their journey on the show.

Dublin will begin by accompanying the buyers of three properties bought at auction to determine whether they've made a profit from buying 'under the hammer'.

The ex-striker said:

“I am thrilled to be joining Martin and Lucy on Homes Under The Hammer. I have a passion for property and look forward to meeting people on the show who share that passion.
