Sony have released a teaser trailer for the new Trainspotting film which will be released next year.
Danny Boyle's sequel T2 began filming in Edinburgh today and is due to hit cinema screens on January 27.
It features the original cast of Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle.
Trainspotting was based on author Irvine Welsh's novel about a group of heroin addicts in a deprived area of Edinburgh in the late 1980s.
The sequel is said to be loosely based on Welsh's 2002 follow up Porno.
Carlyle, who will return to the play "psycho" Begbie, said that the script for the new film is "absolutely fantastic" and stronger than the first film.
"This has maybe got a wee bit more to it in terms of what they've been up to through these years.
"You learn a lot about Renton, Sick Boy and indeed Begbie and where their heads are.
"Fingers crossed people will take it on board and enjoy it."
