One lucky UK ticket holder has scooped the £61.1 million jackpot in the EuroMillions draw, making it the fourth to be won in the UK this year.
The winner matched five numbers and two 'lucky stars' to take home £61,102,442.90 in Friday's game.
A National Lottery spokesman said: "The UK's lucky streak is never ending - the #61 million EuroMillions jackpot is the fourth one to be won here this year.
"As well as the huge jackpot, five players won a guaranteed £1 million and a luxury trip to the Gold Coast in the UK Millionaire Maker."
Two ticket holders outside the UK won the second prize of €798,845 each, and ten additional ticket holders here also picked up more than £35,000 for matching five numbers.
The latest big win comes after an unnamed UK ticket holder claimed £51.8 million on the EuroMillions in April, just weeks after another British player won a £24.6 million jackpot.
