A new survey has found that 71% of people think parents post too much information about their children on social media.
The survey, carried out by the Baby to Toddler Show, also revealed that 82% of parents post pictures of their children on their social media accounts to connect with friends and family they do not see often.
Of the parents who post pictures of their children on social media, 37% have not thought about how their children will feel about having their photos shared when they get older.
Alison Perry, author of Not Another Mummy Blog, and Leticia Maciel, who runs The Inside Edit, a parenting and lifestyle website, joined ITV Lunchtime News to discuss their approaches to posting about their children on social media.
Alison is very careful about showing pictures of her children on her blog, and only shows the backs of their heads, while Leticia is happy to share pictures of her children with her followers.
