One Direction star Louis Tomlinson will pay tribute to his late mother during the X Factor finale this weekend, as the final three contestants bid to be crowned 2016 champion.
Tomlinson, 24, will go ahead with his scheduled performance as per the wishes of Johannah Deakin, who passed away from leukemia on Wednesday.
He will return to the show where One Direction found fame in 2010, when the group finished third behind Rebecca Ferguson and eventual winner Matt Cardle.
The remaining acts - boy band 5 After Midnight, Matt Terry and Finish singer Saara Aalto - will take to the stage twice on Saturday evening.
Also performing will be The Weeknd, Madness, Kylie Minogue and Little Mix - the only group to have won the X Factor.
- The X Factor is on ITV at 8pm on Saturday.
