After a hot day with highs of 32-33C southern Britain will retain warmth and heat well into the night and here not much below 20C keeping it stuffy and humid. A little more comfortable further north. Tomorrow the snag will be more cloud and some early rain for northern Scotland gradually clearing and north-west Scotland will have another cool day. Elsewhere, plenty of strong sunshine and hotting up again quickly with highs of 32-33C - possibly 34C. Feeling cooler around the coasts with the sea breeze. The heat will trigger the chance of a few hot and miss downpours across eastern and central England. Cloud building up by the afternoon - but it'll stay very warm and melt away by early evening leaving plenty of sunshine later in the day.
