Warm sunshine again tomorrow but thunderstorms start to move in

High pressure gives the UK a dry and settled night with temperatures dropping no lower than around 17C in urban spots in the south - cooler and fresher further north.

More warm sunshine tomorrow with temperatures one or two degrees warmer than Monday. However, thickening cloud will start to spread in from the southwest throughout tomorrow ahead of a band of potent thunderstorms that are expected to move northwards across the UK from tomorrow late afternoon.

Wednesday and Thursday will be unsettled and low pressure returns by the end of the week.
