Another system will bring a dose of rain from north to south in the next 24 hours. Ahead of this, a fine start across the south-east and East Anglia with the East Midlands tomorrow morning.
Elsewhere more cloud as the rain slides through. Much of it will be dribs and drabs and nothing too heavy but disappointingly grey with misty hill tops and a brisk breeze making it feel more like autumn than August.
Where strong August sunshine remains, warmer feeling with highs of 21-22C before clouding over later in the day.
Into Saturday there'll be a few scattered showers across northern counties but otherwise a fine, dry day with some warm sunny spells.
