Cloud and drizzle will clear southern England on Saturday morning, giving way to warm spells of sunshine through the rest of the day while elsewhere it will be a bright day with variable cloud and some sunshine.
However despite the fine weather a scattering of showers can also be expected in places.
Going in to evening it will be a lovely end to the day for many with some late evening sunshine, though it will turn a little chilly.
Overnight it can be expected to stay mostly dry with clear spells.
Looking ahead to Sunday after a chilly start it looks set to be fine with plenty of warm sunny spells and light winds although thicker cloud is expected in the far west later on.
