£500,000 of stolen metal recovered
Morethan five hundred thousand pounds worth of stolen metals has been seized byofficers across the East in a joint operation involving our ports.
Operation Chisel has beenrunning since the end of January and was set up specifically to target metaltheft in the region. It's not only a costly problem for businesses but ithas been known to cause huge inconvenience.
