A farm in North Essex has suffered more than £100,000 worth of damage after a tornado ripped through the area.
About 10 buildings on Brook Street Farm in Halstead were flattened by the twister and 20 chickens were killed when their hutch was turned upside down.
Workers in White Ash Green said they saw the tornado coming through the trees - ripping up anything in its path. As it came across the fields it was throwing up debris.
