No overall control - Conservatives largest party

The Conservatives lost their majority on Southend-on-Sea Council for the first time since 2000. Labour made two gains at the expense of the Conservatives.

New council: Con 25 (-3), LD 10 (n/c), Ind 10 (+1), Lab 6 (+2)
