More than 1,000 people forced to leave their caravans at Billing Aquadrome in Northampton on Monday May 1 because of flooding are being allowed to return to collect belongings.
Residents are being allowed back into their homes but are advised not to stay overnight because of the risk of more rain, which could cause more flooding. Emergency accommodation is being provided for residents.
The Environment Agency has advised residents to remain aware of further alerts over the next couple of days, as heavy rain is forecast overnight.
Preparations are underway for the Central England Caravan, Camping and Boat Show at the site - organisers have assured ITV Anglia the event is definitely going ahead this weekend.
