More than 600 men and women from brigade units have been taking part in an athletics competition in Essex. It's being hosted by Colchester-based 16 Air Assault members, but includes service personnel from Wattisham and Woodbridge, as well as others around the country.

They were competing in the full range of track and field sports in what's billed as East Anglia's 'Army Olympics'. Organisers see it as a way for those involved to have fun away from their daily work but the day is also a demonstration on the importance of physical fitness and teamwork.
