MP backs Cassie's Law
Ipswich MP Ben Gummer is backing Cassie's Law - a campaign aimed at changing the driving laws following the death of a schoolgirl from Essex.
It calls for police to be allowed to suspend motorists who they feel are unfit to drive.
Sixteen year old Cassie McCord died after a car driven by an 87 year old mounted the pavement in Colchester and hit her. Two days before, police had asked the driver not to take to the wheel.
