Olympic hopefuls for London 2012 are competing at Houghton Hall in Norfolk this weekend. Nearly half of all the countries competing in the equestrian event are being put through their paces and hoping to gain points ahead of selection. Norfolk hopeful, Piggy French is competing alongside better known names like Pippa Funnell and William Fox-Pitt. Britain has traditionally had a strong equestrian presence at the Olympics. We gained 47 medals at Beijing in 2008 finishing fourth in the table behind China. Russia and the USA. GB selection is on 7th June.
