Former F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has been giving safety tips to young drivers at a new centre launched at Silverstone in Northamptonshire.
The Mercedes Benz Driving Academy offers courses for students well below the licence age of 17 to prepare them for driving on the road.
Hamilton is an ambassador for the Academy which started at the Brooklands track in Surrey three years ago.
The Driving Academy offers an innovative approach that aims to create a new generation of responsible and safer driver by learning earlier at a younger age.
Using the specially-designed road network at the new Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience Centre at Silverstone, anyone over 1.5 metres tall can start driving.
