Fire crews are still at the scene of a major fire at Strada restaurant in Bury St Edmunds. The blaze began at the historic Cupola House just after 9 o'clock on Saturday 16th June.
Diners were asked to leave the restaurant, and shortly after the roof went up in flames.
Crews worked on the fire for some hours, but had to withdraw due to fears over the safety of the building's structure. The roof later collapsed.
Businesses close to the building are closed, and many roads in the area are sealed off. Fire crews are working from the air to examine the building for hotspots.
