Streets sealed off after Bury blaze
Part of Bury St Edmunds town centre could be sealed off for most of today after a blaze at a historic building.
16 fire crews were called to Cupola House on The Traverse just after nine o'clock last night (Saturday 16 June). They are still at scene, and are trying to establish how the fire began.
Police have put up cordons, and some roads are closed to keep members of the public safe and allow fire crews to work.
The five-storey 17th century townhouse, which houses Strada restaurant, has partially collapsed. Some businesses close by are unable to open due to safety concerns.
