Police have released images taken from CCTV of an armed robbery at a Luton shop earlier this month.

The robbery took place at 1.37pm on Tuesday June 5, at Maksud Store in Strathmore Road.

Three offenders entered the shop and began threatening staff with what appeared to be a handgun demanding money and cigarettes. The shop workers handed over a large amount of money before the three fled the store.

The CCTV footage shows all three offenders committing the robbery with the man holding the weapon wearing dark clothing, a hooded top and what appears to be a baseball cap under the hood.

The second offender wore a light grey hooded top with dark stripes along the sleeves.

The third offender wore a distinctive blue top which had a black and grey hood with the letters ‘LSND’ written on it in grey.
