Southend will welcome a life size replica of Stonehenge, one of Britain's most famous monuments.
The project, Sacrilege 2012, was created by Turner Prize winning artist, Jeremy Deller.
The giant blow up creation is touring the country and its final stop in our region will be Peterborough on Saturday, July 7.
The tour is part of pre-celebrations for the London 2012 Olympic Games and is free to all members of the public.
"A lot of my work deals with history and Sacrilege is no exception - this is a way to get reacquainted with ancient Britain with your shoes off," said Creator Jeremy Deller.
