Nottingham Forest defender Luke Chambers has joined Ipswich Town on a three year deal.
The former Northampton player told the club's website that he was delighted to join up with the Suffolk side.
Chambers joined Forest in 2007 and played 229 games. He is Paul Jewell's second signing of the summer having already secured the talents of Macclefield's Elliott Hewitt.
Speaking to the club's website Jewell said: "There were a few clubs in for Luke but I always felt confident we would get him and I'm delighted we have."
