RAF workout for Northampton Saints

There are still six weeks to go until the start of the Premiership rugby season, but Northampton Saints are already stepping up their preparation.

The Saints paid a visit to RAF Honington in Suffolk on Thursday for a test of their fitness - forces-style.

The Saints have picked up a few players to plug the gaps left by Chris Ashton and others including South African Gerrit-Jan van Velze, who is one of six new recruits so far.

The Saints season officially starts tomorrow, with a sevens tournament in Lancashire. The Premiership season starts on 1st September.
