A man from Freethorpe in Norfolk who was seriously injured in a bomb attack at the Atlanta Olympics is urging the organisers of London 2012 to make sure security is sorted before the opening ceremony this week.

69-year-old Brian Carr from Freethorpe in Norfolk was at a rock concert when a nail bomb exploded, killing one person and injuring more than 100. His brain was pierced by a nail, leading to brain surgery and years of medial treatment.

With security provisions for the London Olympics currently in the spotlight, Brian says he hopes the London Games will be better placed than any before other, to prevent an attack.
