Norfolk cancer patients benefit from better services

Cancer patients are benefitting from better services according to the results of a new national survey.

According to the survey, announced today by Health Secretary Andrew Lansley, 89% of cancer patients treated at the hospital rated their care as excellent or very good.

Overall, the second national cancer patient experience survey showed that 98 trusts have improved on their results from last year, with Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust amongst those most improved.

The survey gives detailed information on patient's experiences of their treatment.
