New jobs for region's MPs in reshuffle

David Cameron is putting the finishing touches to his reshuffle tonight and new MPs in the East are amongst those being appointed to junior ministerial jobs.

South West Norfolk MP Liz Truss is appointed an Education Minister with responsible for early years education. She's recently published research on childcare policy and now Liz Truss will have the opportunity to put some of her ideas into Government policy.

West Suffolk MP Matt Hancock becomes a Minister at the Department for Business Innovation and Skills . Before becoming a MP he was an advisor to the Chancellor George Osborne and remains close to Downing Street.

And Central Suffolk and North Ipswich MP Dr Dan Poulter gets a job as a Health Minister. He is also a hospital doctor, who still practices medicine during parliamentary recesses.

Though they've been MPs for just over 2 years , the Prime Minister has appointed them to jobs which links to their previous experience.

Tonight the final stages of the reshuffle continue, but for some of the new MPs in our region it's time to get down to work in their new jobs.
